Do Kadam presents Scheherazaad Cooper and Sitara Thobani, two Odissi performers from Vancouver, as they interrogate the stage space when occupied as solo or duet. Presenting a classical repertoire, Do Kadam is a conversation between the feet on stage and the steps taken to reach it. The performance explores dance amidst and between locations, drawing from process in India, the UK, and Canada, finding continuity in movement.
